May we introduce, the first of its kind of a new era – the DRAKON125. Still connected to its roots, it burns for the change of paradigm at Malaguti Motorcycles. With a completely redefined design language, it breathes new fire into the Spirit of Bologna and shows how good Italian design can look in the 125cc class: flowing round shapes in sharply drawn lines – the DRAKON exudes pure dynamism and makes it clear at first glance how its nimble 125 cc will feel.
FIRESTARTER
The water-cooled single-cylinder engine produces a respectable 10 kW and pushes for 11.4 Nm, which can be called up instantly at any time with the smart electronic fuel injection system from BOSCH. MAXXIS tyres guarantee uncompromising grip right down to the lowest leaning angles.
PURE DYNAMICS
Upside-down fork, 300 mm brake disc, ABS, wide handlebars: with this equipment, the DRAKON125 is nimble like no Malaguti ever seen before and thanks to its upright yet sporty riding position with a well-padded seat, it is also one of the most comfortable naked bikes in its class. A featherweight of just 145 kg fully fuelled adds to the DRAKON’s momentum.
ELECTRONICS OF A NEW ERA
We don’t do things by halves: Vertically arranged full-LED headlights, LED taillights and discreet LED turn signals light the way for the DRAKON. A high-resolution colour TFT display, adjustable in three colour schemes (Corsa Red, Day, Night) and a USB socket with dual output show that even a 125 cc machine does not have to settle for yesterday’s technology.
